Open Plan Graphic Kitchen + Snug
Bold geometric design
With the brief of “no white walls” and a love of ice-cream colours, this was a fun space to create for a growing family.
An inherited extension that was poorly constructed and underused, was reconfigured by opening up the whole back of this 1930s house with dual aspect bi-fold doors, and the kitchen re-positioned along the rear wall with a sociable peninsular facing out into the dining space.
A second living space was placed at the sunniest end of the extension for an extra lounge and play space.
Bold geometric details on the tiling and furniture, along with black finishes give an edge to the two-tone peach walls and ceiling.
With fun details like the lilac wiggle hardware on the bespoke coloured cabinetry, and hexagonal flooring edge mirrored on the ceiling.
